The Demo Qualifier
6 questions about what you actually know going in. Find out if you have enough to run an effective demo, and exactly what to fix if you don't.
Why this tool is built the way it is
"Not Ready" is not a judgment on the AE.
It means running this demo in this state is more likely to cost you than gain you. The output is a list of questions to send before the call, phrased so you can actually paste them into Slack. The goal is to give the SE 24 hours to close the gaps, not to assign blame.
"Proceed with Risk" is the verdict that does the most work.
Most demos land somewhere in the middle. Proceed with Risk tells you exactly which things are unknown so you can address what you can before the call and prepare for what you can't. A binary go/no-go would miss most of the situations SEs actually face.
Every gap comes with a specific question, not generic advice.
If you don't know the business problem, the output gives you the exact sentence to send your AE. If you don't know the next step, it tells you when and how to lock one in. Run this 10 minutes before a pre-call with your AE and work through the gaps together.
The next step question is in here because it's the one SEs always skip.
Most SEs think hard about what to show in a demo. Almost none think about what they're asking for at the end of it. A demo with no agreed next step produces a polite follow-up email and a deal that goes quiet. That pattern is more common than any technical failure.
